On October 31, 2017, the 2017 China Science and Technology Paper Statistical Results Conference was held in Beijing. "Chinese Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine" was selected as one of the "One Hundred Chinese Outstanding Academic Journals" in 2016, which is another landmark achievement after the journal was included in the CSCD core database this year. This year's 100 outstanding academic journals in China are selected from 112 subject classifications, so not every subject classification can produce 100 outstanding academic journals. Only 35 journals in the medical field have been evaluated.


The selection of one hundred outstanding Chinese academic journals adopts the comprehensive evaluation index system of Chinese scientific and technological academic journals developed by the China Institute of Science and Technology Information. The selection process is completely carried out by the independent experts of various disciplines hired by the institute, and is used according to more than ten scientific measurement indicators of the source journals. The evaluation of purely mathematical analysis results does not require any materials provided by the participating journals. The evaluation results are objective and fair, representing the highest academic level of Chinese sci-tech journals, and are recognized by the industry as a relatively objective, comprehensive and scientific journal evaluation system.

The press conference also released the "4th China Fine Science and Technology Journals", and a total of 300 Chinese journals and 15 English journals were selected. Our hospital "Chinese Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine" and "Chinese Journal of Reconstructive Surgery" were selected. The "China Fine Science and Technology Journal" is selected every three years, and it has been announced three times in 2008, 2011 and 2014. Both "Chinese Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine" and "Chinese Journal of Reconstructive and Reconstructive Surgery" were selected again after being selected in the 2nd and 3rd China Fine Science and Technology Journals in 2011 and 2014.
