Mucin antigen 4 (MUC4) is a molecular marker for some malignant tumors for early tumor diagnosis, prognosis and targeted therapy. It provides a new research direction in tumor diagnosis and treatment that will have a wide application prospect. In recent years, there has been a large number of research reports on the basic and clinical studies about MUC4, but the molecular imaging study about MUC4 is seldom reported. In this paper the recent research about MUC4 on basic and clinical studies is briefly reviewed, and it is expected to promote the development of tumor molecular imaging.
ObjectiveTo investigate researches on pancreatic neoplasms and molecular imaging in recent five years and provide reference information for the majority of professionals in deep research. MethodsBibliographies from research literature of pancreatic neoplasms and molecular imaging in recent five years in PubMed database were downloaded. The publication years, journals, countries of publication, the first authors and the frequency of MJMEs were counted by Bicomb 2.0 software. The affiliations were analyzed artificially. MJMEs appeared no less than two times were intercepted as high frequency ones and the high frequency MJMEs co-occurrence matrix were formed. SPSS 22.0 statistical software were applied for clustering analysis with matrix, then to get the topic hotspots. ResultsA total of 28 literatures were screened out. The data of research trend, journals, research degree of countries were acquired. The number of high frequency MJMEs were 20 and among which 5 research hotspots were clustered. ConclusionsResearches on pancreatic neoplasms and molecular imaging are mainly in terms of therapy and genetics, diagnosis and metabolism, radionuclide imaging, pharmacology and pathology.
Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a common lethal aortic disease in clinical practice. At present, the imaging diagnostic methods used for AAA mainly include Doppler ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), but these methods can only observe the morphological changes of the aorta. These techniques used for the risk assessment of aneurysms, such as aneurysm rupture have some certain limitations. With the continuous development of molecular imaging technology and the further understanding of the pathogenesis of AAA, positron emission tomography (PET), molecular MRI and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) techniques can be used to observe the pathological changes of the AAA and assess the risk of rupture from cell and molecular level. In this paper, the latest application of PET, molecular MRI, SPECT in the risk assessment was discussed.
ObjectiveTo summarize research progress of molecular imaging in microvascular invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma.MethodThe literatures about the molecular imaging in recent years at home and abroad on the microvascular invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma were reviewed and analyzed.ResultsThe molecular imaging methods such as the Gd-EOB-DTPA enhanced scan, irrelevant movement within voxel diffusion weighted imaging, energy spectrum CT imaging, MR molecular probe imaging, etc. from the aspect of the microstructure multimodally studied the biological behaviors and characteristics of the disease had become the research hot topic and the development direction in the future, which played an important role in the early diagnosis and assessment of the microvascular invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma.ConclusionResearch method of molecular imaging has a prosperous prospect of clinical application in microvascular invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma.
