Methods The death surveillance data in Zigong residents from 1985 to 2009 were collected, and the indexes such as all death mortality rate, infant mortality rate, maternal mortality rate, disease-specific mortality rate, age-specific mortality rate, and life expectancy were analyzed. Results The all death mortality rate had fluctuation of plus or minus 6‰, and the male mortality rate was higher than the female (χ2=8 059.769, P=0.000). The six main influencing factors of the death of Zigong residents were as follows: respiratory system diseases, circulatory system diseases, tumour, injury and poisoning regarded as external cause diseases, digestive system diseases, and infectious diseases and parasitic diseases. The mortality rates of different districts were statistically different (χ2=1 643.926, P=0.000), and Fushun County was the highest among them after standardization. The curve of mortality rate in different sex and age groups was changed alike letter “U”. The mortality rate was ascending with the age in the group of over 15 years old, the ascending trend was more evident especially after 50 years old. The infant mortality declined steadily and was well controlled. The maternal mortality declined obviously. The average life expectancy for the whole city was 74.72, which showed an ascending trend. Conclusion The chronic diseases are the main death cause of residents in Zigong. The prevention and controlling of acute infectious diseases and parasitic diseases should be persistently performed for declining both incidence rate and mortality rate. • Contingent Negative Variation:A Brainwave Associated with Expectation

The present study used the experimental patterns of Go/No Go and no motion contingent negative variation (CNV) task into the research in order to study whether the CNV can express the implication of expectation. Through comparing the CNV under different conditions, the data collected from experiment showed that the key to evoked CNV was close to the warning signal and command signal. Whether the command signal was related to the task would impact on the amplitude of the CNV. This characteristics responses to the subjects' expectation. On this basis, CNV can be used as the electrophysiological index for the reflection of expected value in the conditions of this experiment.

  • Analysis of healthy life expectancy for residents of Jianyang city in Sichuan province in 2018

Objective To estimate healthy life expectancy of residents aged 30 and above in Jianyang, Sichuan province, and comprehensively evaluate the health status of the population, so as to provide reference and basis for the formulation of health-related public policies. Methods The population data, death data and health status data of Jianyang city in 2018 were collected, and the self-rated health life expectancy and life expectancy without chronic diseases of residents aged 30 and above were calculated by Sullivan method, and their proportion in life expectancy was calculated. Results A total of 4 482 residents aged 30 years and above were included in Jinyang city, of whom 3 989 were self-rated healthy, accounting for 89.00% of self-rated health, and 1 988 were suffering from chronic diseases, with a chronic disease prevalence rate of 44.36%. In the age group of 30-64, the self-rated health life expectancy of women was significantly higher than that of men (P<0.05), and in the age group of 40-44, the life expectancy without chronic diseases of women was significantly lower than that of men (P<0.05), and the differences were not statistically significant when comparing different genders in other age groups (P>0.05). With the increase of age, the proportion of residents’ self-rated health and the proportion of life expectancy without chronic diseases in healthy life expectancy gradually declined. Conclusions The chronic disease has become the main factor affecting the health of middle-aged and elderly population, especially female population. It is suggested that active measures should be taken to deal with chronic diseases and the elderly health support system should be strengthened to improve healthy life expectancy of residents in Jianyang city.
