ObjectiveTo investigate the status quo of readiness for and attitude towards interprofessional learning among sophomore undergraduates and analyze the correlation between them, so as to provide a reference for the development of interprofessional education in China.MethodsFrom September to November 2018, with the convenience sampling method, the Chinese versions of Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Scale and Interdisciplinary Education Perception Scale were used to carry out a cross-sectional study among the second-year undergraduates of 2017 from a medical university in Nanjing.ResultsA total of 341 sophomores were surveyed. The median score of readiness for interprofessional learning was 69.00 with the interquartile range being 11.00, and the median score of attitude towards interprofessional collaboration was 86.00 with the interquartile range being 14.00. Additionally, there was a positive correlation between interprofessional readiness and attitude (rs=0.282, P<0.001).ConclusionSophomore undergraduates are generally in a positive state of readiness for interprofessional learning as well as attitude towards interprofessional collaboration, and there is a positive correlation between interprofessional readiness and attitude, suggesting that it is worth considering to carry out interprofessional education activities among medical sophomore undergraduates.
Objective To define the attributes and priorities of evidence-based nursing curriculum needs of nursing students, so as to provide operational reference for the design and development of evidence-based nursing course in the future. Methods Questionnaire was designed based on Kano model, and convenient sampling method was adopted to investigate the nursing students who had received training or had experience in evidence-based nursing from September to November 2020. According to the Kano model attribute classification method, the need attribute of evidence-based nursing curriculum was defined. Results A total of 303 nursing students were investigated. Kano model analysis showed that 11 of the needs for evidence-based nursing courses were one-dimensional quality, which belonged to the dimension of teaching resources and teaching content, and 5 were indifference quality, which belonged to the course assessment dimension. The importance-satisfaction matrix showed that the need of evidence-based nursing curriculum was concentrated in the advantage area and minor excepting improvement area. Conclusions In the future curriculum design, evidence-based nursing teachers need to continue to maintain the demand items in the advantage area and constantly improve and perfect them. They also need to pay more attention to the demand items in the minor excepting improvement area. Combined with the current problems in evidence-based nursing practice and the evidence-based needs of students, teachers need to further put forward suggestions on evidence-based nursing curriculum.
Abstract: Objective To investigate and improve the method of isolation, induction and culture, amplification in vitro of human endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) in human bone marrow, thus establish a foundation for EPCs to participate in basic research and clinical application. Methods WHuman bone marrow mononuclear cells (hBMMNCs) were isolated by density gradient centrifugation and cultured in the 6plateds coating human fibronections(HFN group), coating gelatinum (coating gelatinum group) and coating nothing (coating nothing group) respectively. After culturing for 4-7d endothelial cell basal medium-2(EBM-2) cell colonyforming units (CFUs) appeared, then select EPCsliked CFUs for cultivation which was named the pick method, CD34+ KDR+ and CD133+ KDR+ double positive cells were detected in flow cytometry, and CD133, CD34, CD31, vWF and KDR expression were detected with cell immunochemical test. Results hBMMNCs were isolated from human bone marrow more effectively with OptiprepTM cell separating medium, and induced and obtained more EPCs, and cultured and amplificated in vitro. Flow cytometer showed CD133+ KDR+ double positive cells reaching up to 70.4%±5.4%, CD34+ KDR+ double positive cells reaching up to 69.1%±8.7%. EPCs grew vigorously in coating HFN group and coating gelatinum group, both HFN and gelatinum promote EPCs adherence and growth, but there were no statistically difference in two groups (Pgt;0.05).Surface mark of adherent cells cultured 7d such as CD133, CD31, vWF and KDR showed positive, and cells cultured 14d such as CD34 showed positive. Conclusion The method of picking CFUs can obtain more EPCs from human bone marrow with success and can amplificate EPCs in vitro, thus introducing another simple and effective method to purify EPCs, further widening range and increasing method to purify EPCs.
