Spike recorded by multi-channel microelectrode array is very weak and susceptible to interference, whose noisy characteristic affects the accuracy of spike detection. Aiming at the independent white noise, correlation noise and colored noise in the process of spike detection, combining principal component analysis (PCA), wavelet analysis and adaptive time-frequency analysis, a new denoising method (PCWE) that combines PCA-wavelet (PCAW) and ensemble empirical mode decomposition is proposed. Firstly, the principal component was extracted and removed as correlation noise using PCA. Then the wavelet-threshold method was used to remove the independent white noise. Finally, EEMD was used to decompose the noise into the intrinsic modal function of each layer and remove the colored noise. The simulation results showed that PCWE can increase the signal-to-noise ratio by about 2.67 dB and decrease the standard deviation by about 0.4 μV, which apparently improved the accuracy of spike detection. The results of measured data showed that PCWE can increase the signal-to-noise ratio by about 1.33 dB and reduce the standard deviation by about 18.33 μV, which showed its good denoising performance. The results of this study suggests that PCWE can improve the reliability of spike signal and provide an accurate and effective spike denoising new method for the encoding and decoding of neural signal.
ObjectiveTo systematically review the indoor influencing factors of asthma in Chinese children. MethodsThe CNKI, WanFang Data, VIP, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and ScienceDirect databases were electronically searched to collect cross-sectional studies on the indoor influencing factors of asthma in Chinese children from inception to November 2021. Two reviewers independently screened the literature, extracted data, and assessed the risk of bias of the included studies; then, meta-analysis was performed using Stata 16.0 software. ResultsA total of 29 cross-sectional studies were included, and 11 influencing factors were analyzed by meta-analysis. The results of the meta-analysis showed that redecoration (OR=1.57, 95%CI 1.37 to 1.79, P<0.01), environmental tobacco smoke (OR=1.59, 95%CI 1.34 to 1.88, P<0.01), cooking oil fume (OR=1.98, 95%CI 1.20 to 3.25, P<0.01), mold and water damage (OR=1.49, 95%CI 1.09 to 2.02, P<0.01), mold (OR=2.01, 95%CI 1.40 to 2.90, P<0.01), water damage (OR=1.72, 95%CI 1.44 to 2.06, P<0.01), moldy odor (OR=1.38, 95%CI 1.22 to 1.56, P<0.01), indoor humidity (OR=1.50, 95%CI 1.18 to 1.91, P<0.01), furry pets (OR=1.55, 95%CI 1.39 to 1.72, P<0.01) and cockroach (OR=1.63, 95%CI 1.24 to 2.14, P<0.01) were risk factors for asthma in Chinese children, while burning incense had no association with the occurrence of asthma in children. ConclusionCurrent evidence indicates that redecoration, environmental tobacco smoke, cooking oil fume, mold and water damage, mold, water damage, moldy odor, indoor humidity, furry pets, and cockroaches are influencing factors of asthma in Chinese children. Due to the limited quality and quantity of the included studies, more high-quality studies are needed to verify the above conclusion.
Objective To compare the quality of life after laparoscopic and open surgery for gastric stromal tumor patients. Methods We collected the data of the patients undergoing the gastric stromal tumor surgery from May 2011 to August 2016 in West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and compared the basic data, complications, micturition time, hospital stay time, bleeding volume and hospitalization expenses. SF-36 scale was used to evaluate the quality of life. Then, SPSS 19.0 software was used for data analysis. Results Eighty nine patients involving 31 laparoscopic patients and 58 open surgery patients were included. There was no statistical significance in basic line between two groups. The laparoscopic group had shorter micturition time and hospital stay time, less intraoperative bleeding and lower hospitalization costs, the differences between two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). But there were no significant differences between two groups in the operation time and postoperative complication rate. The SF-36 quality of life scale of laparoscopic group and open surgery group were 737.7±68.3 and 665.1±138.1, respectively. The laparoscopic surgery group had higher scores in validity (VT), social function (SF) and mental health (MH) than those in open surgery group with significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery is safe and effective for the patients with stromal tumor. Patients in laparoscopic group have shorter recovery time and higher quality of life than open surgery group. Due to the limited of study design, more high quality studies are needed to verify above conclusion.
