  • THE CHARACTERISITICS OF PLASMA-SPRAYED COATINGS OF HYDROXY APATITE IN VITRO

In order to investigate the stability of Hydroxyapatite (HA) coated material, the plasma-sprayed coatings of HA were divided into four groups: 1. Keeping in water vapour at 125 degrees C, with a pressure of 0.15 MPa for 6 hr; 2. Heating at 650 degrees C in air for half an hr; 3. Keeping in water vapour at 490 degrees C, with a pressure of 0.01 MPa for 2 hr; and 4. The control. The XRD, FTIR analysis and the dissolution test were carried out. The results showed: 1. The degree of crystalization in XRD analysis was 3. gt; 1. gt; 2. gt; 4.; 2. The ampitude of OH- peak in FTIR analysis was 3. gt; 1. gt; 2. gt; 4. and 3. The dissolution rate in tris-HCl buffer was 3. lt; 1. lt; 2. lt; 4. The conclusions were 1. The treating with water vapour could decrease the transformation temperature which was needed to convert the amorphous phase into cystalline phase; 2. Water vapour treatment could accelerate the transformation of Z-TCP, TCPM into crystalline HA; 3. Water vapour treatment could promote the structural integrity of plasma--sprayed coated of and HA and 4. Water vapour treatment could lower the dissolution rate of HA coated in Tris-HCl buffer.

  • Empirical Analysis of the Main Input and Output of Healthcare Reform in China from 2009 to 2013

ObjectiveTo analyze the main input and output of healthcare reform in China, and to provide references for improving the policies and measures of healthcare reform in China in future. MethodsData from the National Health Services Survey, and the China Statistical Yearbook etc. was collected to compare and analyze the allocation of health resources, health status of residents, health service utilization, and medical burden before and after healthcare reform. ResultsDuring the reform from 2009 to 2013, hospital health and technical personnel increased year by year. In 2013, the proportion of health and technical personnel in hospitals was up to 61.4% of the total national health technical personnel. In 2013, 65.19% of government expenditure on healthcare was used for disease treatment, and only 14.59% was used for disease prevention. Compared with the year of 2008, the two-week prevalence rate of residents increased by 5.2%, the chronic disease prevalence rate increased by 9% in 2013. Compared with the year of 2009, the annually diagnosed and treated patients increased 18.2 billion person-time, the annually discharged patients increased 59.65 million person-time in 2013. The individual residents paid 52.49% of total medical expenses. ConclusionSince the healthcare reform, China's central and local governments have imputed a large number of health resources into hospitals for "disease treatment". That partly improved the utilization of residents' health service, but the two-week prevalence rate and chronic disease prevalence rate are rapidly growing. There is still high burden of medical expenses for the residents. China's healthcare model should be changed from "treatment-centered" to "prevention-centered" in future.

  • The key elements of technological achievements “production-transformation” in China: a systematic review

ObjectiveTo systematically review studies on evaluating the quality evaluation index and the transformation application effect evaluation index of domestic related scientific and technological achievements, to analyze and identify the key elements of evaluating the " production-transformation” of scientific and technological achievements, and to provide the methodological support for the establishment of evaluation system for the transformation and application of domestic scientific and technological achievements.MethodsWe searched CNKI, WanFang Data, SinoMed and VIP databases from inception to December 2016. In addition, manual retrieval and tracing references were also used to collect researches. Two reviewers screened literatures, extracted data, and descriptive analysis was performed to assess the results.ResultsA total of 18 studies on the production quality of the technological achievements and 12 studies on the transformation and application effect of the technological achievements were included. The results of systematic reviews showed that: the evaluation of production quality of technological achievements were mainly established from the benefits, characteristics, value, effect and source, and input of technological achievements; the evaluation of transformation and application of technological achievements were mainly established from researching and development ability, transforming ability and transformation effect of technological achievements.ConclusionsThe evaluation of technological achievements covers 2 key links: the production quality, transformation and application effect of technological achievements that are mutually complementary to each other. At the same time, the value elements are found in the production quality, transformation and application of technological achievements, namely scientific value, discipline value, economic value and social value. Therefore it is necessary to establish the evaluation of production quality, transformation and application effect of technological achievements based on the value.
