Correction and Retraction Policy
All contributions that are selected for peer review are sent to two or more independent reviewers. We use double-blind peer review. Papers may be rejected without external review at the Editor’s discretion.
The Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases provides immediate open access to its content on the principle of making research freely available to the public to support a greater global knowledge exchange.
The Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases only accepts original papers, which should be innovative, scientific, practical, and readable. Please do not submit your manuscripts to more than one journal,otherwise you will be blacklisted. We will check all the manuscripts upon reception through the Academic Misconduct Literature Check System, which was developed by Wanfang Database, and all accepted manuscripts will be checked again before printing. Manuscripts with academic misconducts (suspected of plagiarism) will be rejected.
At the end of the text, under a subheading 'Conflict of interest statement' all authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work. Examples of potential conflicts of interest include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding.
If the article submitted to the Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases is a clinical study, it should be indicated whether the clinical study conforms to the principles stipulated in the Declaration of Helsinki(DoH), whether it has been approved by the Medical Ethics Committee (if approved, the name of the committee and the approval number should be provided),and whether the patients have given their informed consent; if the article is a clinical trial research, it is recommended that the Chinese clinical trial registration number be provided. Animal experimental research should indicate whether it has been approved by the animal welfare ethics committee, and provide the name of the committee and the approval number as well as the license number of the animal.
Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to sign a "Journal Publishing Agreement''.
Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
Correction and Retraction Policy
We recognize our responsibility to correct errors. Content published online is final and cannot be amended. The online version is part of the published record; therefore the original version must be preserved and changes to the paper should be made as a formal correction. If an error is noticed after online publication an HTML (or full-text) version of the correction will be created and linked to the original article.
